Growing up in an Army family, Scott moved every few years with his brother and two sisters and has lived in Texas, Georgia, Illinois, Hawaii, and West Germany.\n\nAfter high school, Scott spent five years in construction before joining the U.S. Coast Guard where he served for five years as a Fire Control Technician (weapon systems electronics).
